It was pretty tasty stuff, though definitely more expensive than standard Malaysian food fare. Rest assured though, xen/spice-ophobes, you can find pretty good American food here. This meal took place at Kenny Rogers Roasters. Right now you're probably saying to yourself, "Kenny Rogers has a restaurant and/or it's still in business?!". Well, the answer is, "Yes. Yes he does," and it's huge here (and in the Philippines, according to Wikipedia)
This is probably a good time to point out that American-food restaurants (including fast food; McDonald's and KFC, in particular) are really popular here, despite the relative expense.
