What I Ate Today: For Snack

For dinner today, Wearn and I met up with a bunch of friends from UC Davis. When dinner arrived I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures before I ate it all...

So how about a pre-dinner snack instead!

A croissant and a `coffee bomb'

Bakeries are a lot more popular in KL than they are back in Sacramento and they feature a lot of interesting and tasty treats. The croissant (I swear it only took me two tries to spell that correctly) was, hands down, the best croissant I've ever eaten, and it was old (Disclosure: I don't eat many croissants). There's a popular bakery here in Malaysia called, Roti Boy (roti means bread) that makes a famous pastry with a crunchy, coffee-flavored outer crust and a soft, butter-filled interior.

It was amazing, yes.

The coffee bomb was similar, except that it was filled with coffee-flavored cream, rather than butter (still pretty good).
