Eating in Malaysia

The Lim family and I have been going out to eat at various Chinese restaurants. There were many kinds of dishes there:

All the dishes put together
Venison
Green beans
Paper-wrapped chicken
Tofu
Deep-fried calamari
Spinach soup
Steamed "African fish"
Sweet and sour crab

Everything has been very tasty, even the petai a.k.a., "smelly beans" (quite smelly, but doesn't taste like much).

As you can see, people really like their food here:

Cheng Chuan obviously enjoying his food
Wearn's mom and I obviously enjoying ourselves too (my mouth is full of food)

The Lim's have really been treating me to a lot of good food and I've been quite grateful for their local expertise in picking restaurants with interesting dishes. I'll finish up with my birthday cake:

Happy Birthday to me!

Green tea!

  2. I think all of these pictures were taken with Wearn's camera. She's got a Canon Rebel and I'm rockin' the Panasonic Lumix.

  3. I just looked up the Rebel on google. It looks mighty sexy.
